Mount Jerai (Gunung Jerai)

The highest peak in Kedah state is found on Mount Jerai, located in Gurun area. The mountain stands at 1217 meters (3,993 feet) and is believed to have served as a guiding landmark for ancient travelers and traders more than 1800 years ago. Today you can go right to the top to take in the breathtaking panoramic views and enjoy the serenity of being away from it all.
