Semeling Jetty Complex & Merbok River Mangrove Forest Reserve Museum (Jeti Semeling)

Located about 8km from the South and North Sungai Petani  highway exit, Semeling Jetty Complex is where you will find the jetty, the Mangrove Forest Reserve Museum, auditorium and tourist information centre for the area. From the complex visitors can get a closer look at mangrove forests via a long walkway built on top of the swamps. From the jetty, you can also rent a local boat and take a cruise through the tropical mangrove forest along Merbok River  to Pulau Tiga, Teluk Bayu, Tanjung Dawai or towards the sea and hop on to small islands dotted off the coast of mainland Kedah, including  Pulau Telur, Pulau Song Song, and Pulau Bidan.
